Location of the accommodation

The Hotel Alpenblick, situated at 1,060 meters above sea level, offers an impressive view of the Hohe Tauern, the Gastein valley and the backdrop of Bad Gastein. The historic town center with its unique waterfall can be reached on foot in 10 minutes. The ski slope from the Graukogel leads to the hotel entrance. The free ski bus takes you from the house to the Stubnerkogel-Angertal-Schlossalm ski area in just 5 minutes. You can reach the Gasteiner Heilstollen in 10 minutes by car.

The 35 rooms in the traditional family-run Hotel Alpenblick (since 1935) are individually furnished, combine tradition with timeless modernity, and vary in size and location. From Hotel Alpenblick's restaurant, you can enjoy panoramic views of the Gastein mountains while enjoying delicious meals (using local produce where possible). At the bar, try the homemade liqueurs made from our own garden herbs or the self-created cocktails.

The attractive garden area with pool, Kneipp facility and idyllic places and likewise in the hotel saunas with panoramic relaxation room, game rooms - all this can use the Alpenblick guests daily.  The in-house wellness offer, energetic treatments and health activities to be chosen individually promote your sustainable recovery to recharge.

Take a thermal bath in the Roman tub; the thermal water comes from 18 springs on the local mountain Graukogel and is piped directly into the house. We will be happy to advise you on your spa stay and the treatments available at the hotel, in combination with a Heilstollen cure. Our Hotel Alpenblick is also a state-approved health resort.

Winter in Gastein

The Graukogel lift can be reached on foot in just a few minutes. The ski slope is an insider tip for those who prefer quieter natural snow slopes, as well as an ideal starting point for tourers. Enjoy the beautiful winter landscape on a horse-drawn sleigh ride into the Kötschachtal valley or on the numerous winter hiking trails of the Gastein valley.

Summer in Gastein & Alpenblick

In summer, hiking trails await you in the Gastein Valley, such as the Zirbenweg and the Alpe-Adria hiking trail, which will lead you to places where energy and strength can be recharged. Taste the homemade, local products on the alpine pastures and let yourself be pampered after an active day in the mountains with a massage at Hotel Alpenblick. The Kneipp facility for tired hiking feet and the white water misting refresh and strengthen the immune system.
