The Arnoldgut is the starting point for dreamy family hikes and numerous bike tours. Right here in Altenmarkt, you'll also find the Erlebnistherme Amadé. In our region, there are countless excursion destinations to discover, such as the Geisterberg, Grafenberg, or the world's largest Ice Giants World.

While the naturally grown valley town of Altenmarkt in Salzburg Land delights with a warm-family-friendly ski area, Zauchensee at 1,350 meters above sea level offers a sporty-challenging experience surrounded by mountains with maximum comfort and pure nature.

The World Cup site Zauchensee with the Zauchensee-Flachauwinkl ski lift is the highest ski area and thus the most snow-sure place in the Salzburg Sport World way into spring. It offers skiing fun at its finest on 65 kilometers of pistes and with 25 lift facilities.

Additionally, our beautiful ancestral farm is located directly on the 260 km large cross-country skiing network in the Salzburg Sport World.
