The S’ Mauthäusl Luftenstein is idyllically situated in the picturesque Lofer Valley basin, combining a central location with a true feel-good atmosphere. Only about 500 meters separate you from the town center of St. Martin bei Lofer. In winter, the free ski bus stops right at the door, comfortably taking you in just a few minutes to the Almenwelt Lofer – the family-friendly ski area in the Salzburg Saalachtal.

Our house offers you many amenities for a relaxing holiday in the mountains. These include a ski and shoe room with a boot dryer, a cozy garden area, and a large terrace for lounging.

Particularly popular is our approximately 65 m² wellness area with sauna, infrared cabin, and relaxation room – the perfect place to unwind after an active day in nature. Usage is free for our guests. The wellness area is open from October 1 to April 30, with opening days varying by season. If desired, you can also indulge in soothing massages.

From May to September, the wellness area is closed – instead, our spacious terrace invites you to enjoy hours outdoors. In the cozy Salettl, you can have breakfast together or let the day wind down. A grill is also available for your use at no cost.

A special highlight in summer is the included Salzburg Saalachtal Card. With this card, you enjoy numerous free services and discounts – including rides on the Almenwelt Lofer cable car, admissions to impressive natural attractions such as the Seisenberg Gorge or Lamprecht Cave, as well as free entry to the Steinbergbad Lofer and much more. The card is valid from May 1 to the end of October.
